Lifetime Diamond Warranty

At Aurumya, we want you to feel confident about the diamonds and gemstones you choose.
Our Lifetime Diamond Warranty is our commitment that the key characteristics we promise at the time of sale will match what you receive.

This page explains what is covered, what is not covered, and how this warranty works alongside Australian Consumer Law.

1. What is the Lifetime Diamond Warranty?

The Lifetime Diamond Warranty applies to the stones we supply and covers the diamond or gemstone specifications we promise at the time of sale.

It is designed to give you confidence that:

  • The stone you receive is the quality we described, and
  • The key characteristics listed on your certificate or order are correct.

If a covered stone is later found not to match the specifications promised at the time of sale, Aurumya will refund the diamond or stone price.

This guarantee applies for the lifetime of the diamond or gemstone.

2. Which stones are covered?

The Lifetime Diamond Warranty applies to:

  • Lab-grown diamonds
  • Moissanite
  • Sapphires

Online, Aurumya currently sells lab-grown diamonds.
Natural diamonds are available by consultation so we can hand pick stones that suit your needs.

All solitaire diamonds sold online are IGI or GIA certified.
Your order will include certificate details so you can see the grades for your stone.

3. What exactly is covered?

The warranty covers the key characteristics selected at the time of sale, such as:

  • Colour grade (for example, F colour)
  • Clarity grade (for example, VVS2)
  • Other certificate-based specifications that we represent to you at the time of purchase

For example:

If we supply a diamond described as F colour, VVS2 clarity, the Lifetime Diamond Warranty guarantees those specifications for the life of the diamond.

If a lab-grown diamond, moissanite or sapphire supplied by Aurumya is later found not to match those promised characteristics, Aurumya will refund the stone price.

This warranty does not change the way we handle metal purity, which is covered under our general Warranty Policy.

4. Normal tolerances and small variations

Jewellery manufacturing involves some natural tolerances.

For diamonds and gemstones:

  • There can be a normal variation of around ±1 colour grade and ±1 clarity grade
  • This level of variation is generally accepted in the industry and is not treated as a fault

For the jewellery as a whole:

  • Dimensions, weights and total diamond weights may vary slightly, especially for hand-made and made to order pieces
  • We use advanced CAD designs to guide manufacturing, but final pieces may not match model measurements exactly

These small, expected variations are not covered by the Lifetime Diamond Warranty and are not treated as defects.

If you are unsure about sizing, grades or what a particular specification means, we encourage you to contact us before placing an order.

5. What is not covered by the Lifetime Diamond Warranty?

The Lifetime Diamond Warranty does not cover:

  • Wear and tear from normal use
  • Accidental loss of the diamond or jewellery
  • Mishandling or misuse, including knocks, drops or rough wear
  • Theft
  • Chipping, cracking or breakage from impact
  • Changes caused by heat, chemicals or improper repairs by non-qualified parties

If your jewellery has been damaged, we may still be able to help with repairs or maintenance, but this will not be covered under the Lifetime Diamond Warranty and may attract a fee.

6. Relationship to other Aurumya policies

The Lifetime Diamond Warranty should be read together with:

  • Warranty Policy – covers metal purity and general manufacturing warranty
  • Returns & Refunds Policy – explains when returns or refunds are available, especially for ready-to-ship vs made to order pieces
  • Resizing Policy – explains free resizing limits and which rings can or cannot be resized

Nothing in this Lifetime Diamond Warranty reduces or limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

8. Australian Consumer Law

Our Lifetime Diamond Warranty operates in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Consumer guarantees do not apply if you:

  • Received what you asked for, but simply changed your mind, found it cheaper elsewhere, decided you did not like the purchase, or had no use for it
  • Misused the product in any way that caused the problem
  • Knew of, or were made aware of, any faults before you bought the product
  • Asked for a service to be completed in a certain way against the advice of Aurumya, or were unclear about what you wanted

If you are unsure whether your situation is covered by this Lifetime Diamond Warranty, our general Warranty Policy, or Australian Consumer Law, please contact us and we will explain your options.
